On October 31, 1517; Martin Luther stood outside the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg
Germany with a list of 95 things (95 Theses) that needed to change in the established church. He
nailed this list to the Castle church door. This was the start of what was to become known as the
Reformation. It was also the beginning of the Lutheran Church. We celebrate the Reformation
every year by wearing red and singing a Mighty Fortress, which was written by Martin Luther.
You are invited to wear RED in recognition of Reformation Sunday.
The worship service will be:
- In-person in the sanctuary
- You may listen to the service in the Parking Lot
